Once upon a time in Louisville, KY, there were 4 dudes who owned instruments and worshipped Kodan Armada. Then, one time, they got together for rehearsal in the music studios of Bellarmine University, and on that fateful night, the band my girl MY GUN was born and died.

We played together for maybe 2 hours, absolute tops. We never played together again as my girl MY GUN, but we do have t-shirts coming in 2025 for the 20th anniversary of the one legendary practice we did have.

In remembrance of being this far removed from college antics— there was also a grindcore band I fronted called xDEATHKNIGHTSx and a recording of that actually exists, so stay tuned— I made this screamo playlist. Enjoy it at loud volumes while remembering giving band practice the ol’ college try.
