Chris’s Picks: Volume 1
If there’s any one person to blame for this blog, it’s my old neighbor. He’s the reason I started making the Chris’s Picks playlist series, and those sort of morphed into this blog over time— gradually, then suddenly, as it’s been said.
Chris’s Picks is essentially a faux radio show, each with a running time between 2 and 3 hours. As of posting this, there are over 20 volumes, including ones dedicated to indie rock, Americana, metal, emo, and even Wilco. Volume 1 started it all back in 2023, and although it’s far from perfect— I think it takes until Silver Jews to really find its footing— it’s a cornerstone for what’s become I Have That On Vinyl.
